Cleaning costs

Could anyone update me on typical hourly rates that independent cleaners charge,(those not working for agencies to be clear), outer London area? Cash in hand Thanks

Mine has been charging £10 but I felt horribly guilty as that's less than NMW and she has to pay for her petrol and parking so I've put it up to £15 which I think is more like the going rate.

£15 an hour is the going rate in our area (London zone 3)

National Living Wage for London is £13.15.

She'll have to pay for petrol and the usual costs of running a car, tax, NI and possibly a pension.

I wouldn't pay any less than £17.

Outer london and we pay £15ph.
