Vented Tumble Drier Hose Replacement

My mother bought a tumble drier from Argos a couple of years ago. It needs a new venting hose. I have been unable to find one for that model.
Argos had a Q+A where someone asked about spare parts and was given a phone number. I tried it this morning went through all the menus ( no actual human) only to be told at the end to phone the number I had just phoned.
Infuriating !

I cannot find a spare part for it on the internet.

It has an attachment where it fits on the back of the machine, the external diameter is 4 inches , the internal is 3.5 inches( where the tubing is )
My question is will a 4 inch universal tube fit on or should I just get rid of the whole thing?

I bet the hole will be too narrow now where it is vented to the outside.

If you still have the adaptor that fastens to the machine, I see no reason to doubt that a standard 100mm hose will fit the adaptor

I found a brochure online. I have taken some screenshots @PigletJohn

I do not live in the same town as my Mum so I will not be able to check it until the weekend or Monday.
As you can see the exhaust hose is a lot narrower.

Perhaps the wider hose will fit onto the machine where the exhaust connector fits on. Fingers crossed.

I have to replace the hose on my tumble dryer

I buy a standard hose from Amazon for £10 and use a cable tie around the base to secure it. Does the job and lasts a year each time.

I think the person who wrote that does not know the difference between a mm and a cm.

Unfortunately no @NotDavidTennant . There is a “universal “ size but my mother’s machine is not “universal” and I can’t find anything that is the same as the existing one on her machine.
