Really absorbent cloths

I live in a place that's been kitted out with a very impractical bathroom and kitchen...the water just sits on surfaces and the only way to keep it clean is to wipe down all the time!!

I have tried all the usual cloths.

I think the best cloths for this would be the carwash type shammy but they're usually black. I'd like white for the bathroom and a colour for the kitchen, preferably blue.

Any ideas what I should buy? Do they exist in not black or grey?

Thank you.

My parents have a karcher mini water hoover thingy that they swear by for this problem

Karcher as above love mine or Swedish dishcloths?

wow, thank you for speedy replies!

I have a mini squeegee but it's one of those tiny flats where everything is tiny and you're cleaning a curve, so water splashback and pooling is a real pain.

The shower is over the bath so mopping up sitting water is better as you don't then send it running down the bath.

The bathroom sink is really bad for this too so a cloth is so much quicker.

The Swedish cloths don't look to be more absorbent than any other kind?
