cast iron thingys on gas stove -can you put in dishwasher?

don't worry have just checked the website and you cannot put them in d/washer

oh bother - I was watching this in the hope I could bung mine in

apparently causes them to rust

Mine go in and have not rusted...

I've been doing it for 3 years - no rust yet...

have yours got enamel paint on them as well though

my grandmother has done hers in the dishwasher for the past 22 years and hers are still looking as good as new

her oven is still as clean as a brand new oven as well (seriosuly)

ok I need someone who has brittania cooker to tell me they do theirs in d/w

dh will slaughter me if I ruin them
