My child had an unplanned self made snow messy play using a whole box of Daz a few days ago, the floor is LVT which is also throughout the rest of the ground floor. I swept it all up mainly and hoovered the remainder (while he galloped around shedding the stuff on his clothes around the rest of the place it seems) but didn’t have time to mop at the time as people came round. I have mopped since but all the people walking around kind of spread a stickiness around the ground floor, all our socks are picking up sticky residue and dust and dirt are sticking. I feel like mopping with floor cleaner would add to the stickiness now.
I scrubbed a section with a scrubbing brush to bring out the residue but that’s not really going to work on the whole floor. Would a vinegar solution be good for this? I could mop it all with hot water and vinegar perhaps?
At least it smelled nice!
