Does anyone know where I could get mineral oil used to season wooden salad bowls?

Thanks

If you make a salad in your bowl, you just need to wipe it clean with a paper towel and the oil in the dressing will keep it seasoned.

Thanks

Although I'm saying for salad bowls, it is actually to season wooden musical instruments(!), but I have been instructed to use wooden salad bowl oil to stop them drying out. I've been using olive oil up until now, but I heard somewhere that olive oil can go rancid if used for seasoning in this way.

How bizarre.

Nah,it will be fine.

Paraffin oil would be fine - that's what I use on my wooden kitchen table. Probably in a pharmacy.
