New fridge freezer

Can anyone please help?

I'm looking for a new fridge freezer.

Freestanding
Around 60cm wide
50/50 split
Must be high capacity especially in freezer. From what I can see, this is around 120-140 litres freezer
Prefer one flexible size freezer drawer so that if I want to freeze a turkey, I can!

I'm hoping someone else has had the same dilemma and has solved it!

I'd also be pleased if it were as low energy as possible. So not wanting much Smile

Certainly, energy efficiency is an important consideration when choosing a fridge freezer. The energy efficiency of appliances is typically indicated by an energy label, and the most efficient models are usually rated A+++ or A++.
Here are a few options that are known for their energy efficiency:

  1. Bosch Serie 4 KGN36XWEAG:
  • Energy Efficiency: A+++
  • This model not only meets your size and capacity requirements but also boasts high energy efficiency.
  1. Liebherr CNel 4213:
  • Energy Efficiency: A+++
  • Liebherr appliances are known for their quality and energy efficiency. This model should align well with your needs.
  1. Samsung RB34T602EWW/SA:
  • Energy Efficiency: A+++
  • Samsung often incorporates advanced technologies for energy efficiency in their appliances.
  1. LG GBB72NSDFN:
  • Energy Efficiency: A+++
  • LG is another brand that emphasizes energy-efficient features in its appliances.
  1. Hotpoint Day 1 FFU4D.1 K Fridge Freezer:
  • Energy Efficiency: A+
  • While slightly lower than A+++, this model still offers good energy efficiency.

After much research I bought a Bosch series 6. It’s a 60/4 but well over 6ft so plenty of room. It’s frost free and has an accurate thermometer ( I find this gives a better control of temp and I set fridge to 3deg so food stays fresh longer). It has an alarm on both fridge and freezer which is a bit annoying but stops everyone leaving the door open. There is a huge veg drawer and the meat drawer keeps meat at 1deg, you have to remember not to use it to defrost meat though. There are three spacious freezer drawers.
there is a split shelf in the fridge which also folds up, ideal for larger turkey storage.
No ice making gadget but the freezer freezes water rapidly without build up of frost.
Best of all it’s super quiet. I think it comes in 50/50.
I had a large larder fridge previously ( Liebher, who make Meile fridges) I thought it would take a lot of beating but so far the new fridge is just as good.

We are on our second Liebherr in twenty five years, they are great, so I would say Liebherr all day long.

I'll look at these too. 50/50 is quite important to me, as I'll be giving up a full height 7 drawer freezer, so I want to maximise the space available.

I've looked at the series 6, @Angrymum22 and I don't see a 50/50 version. I'll call them up, after the holiday.
