Wooden units that hold laundry baskets

Sorry for rather boring post!

I’ve seen wooden units marketed in the US that hold say three laundry baskets along, and two vertically. The laundry baskets slide in to the units like drawers. And there’s a flat surface on top
of the unit for folding laundry.

Trying to get my laundry area organised in ‘24 - would like to get laundry baskets off the floor and sort individual family member’s laundry in to them - so was wondering if anyone had seen these available for purchase in uk or eu please?

Would the IKEA Trofast system be something you could use?

I really wanted to fit a standard laundry basket in to the slots though.

I think that's the problem - what is a standard laundry basket?! I have many laundry baskets of many different shapes and sizes.

Do you have a picture of the sort of thing you're looking for?

We looked at this but didn't find anything to suit (unless you have loads of space / a utility room which we don't). Ended up buying a couple of these kinds of things which so far work out well, as washing can be easily divided into darks, delicates etc.

If you search on Pinterest for "Laundry sorting ideas" you'll see loads of photos. Etsy might sell them, but I suspect not much is going to beat Trofast, unless you can find the right basket that fits inside a kitchen unit.
The ikea wire laundry room basket storage system might also suit.

I spent a long time looking for a unit to hold laundry baskets with no success op.

We've now done this and it works brilliantly. These are the 6 cube Argos units (their version of kallax) with the middle dividers removed. Removing the vertical dividers doesn't affect the stability at all.

The units are £50 in Argos and the baskets were a couple of quid in Home Bargains.

Laundry has become so much easier since it's all been separated out!
