How to clean matte kitchen cabinets

My biggest regret when designing our new kitchen is choosing matte instead of gloss cabinets.

You can see water marks so clearly on dark blue matte cabinets. I am constantly cleaning them and using a load of products to keep them clean. Not to mention finger marks etc.

Does anyone have any advice on how to clean them or protect them for constantly needing to be cleaned?

We clean ours once a week with a bowl of hot water and flash multi surface cleaner, wipe them down one cupboard at a time and dry with a clean tea towel as we go so that it doesn’t leave water marks. We have a little step stool type thing to reach the high up ones but it’s maybe a 20 min job tops.

I clean mine with anti bacterial wipes. Wait for them to dry and then polish with windolene and a microfiber cloth. It's a pain in the ass if I'm honest. Ours are dark grey and look great when cleaned but the finger marks are the bane of my life.

Polyvine decorators varnish might work as a protective coating. It's not expensive, dries quickly and is easy to apply, so is worth a punt. I'd test in an inconspicuous area first.
I have used the matte varnish over wallpaper (to make it harder wearing, more resistant to water/steam and easier to clean) and it comes up a treat with a quick wipe as necessary, and no finger marking.
