NEw mattress - in a hurry, thought "boy wears nappy pants, it'll be okay"....

Nappy pants leaked, soggy NEW (did I say NEW????) mattress.

Turn the matress over, to stop liquid flowing down any more, and spray wee area with Detox. (Detox will leave a white mark on matress, but will prevent stale wee odour)

Someone recommended Bicarbonate of soda to me once. Think they said to sprinkle it over and it would absorb smell, then hoover off.

Thanks - its a bit late to stop it soaking in, so I've poured bicarb of soda over it.....

Stand the mattress up on its side and scrub the wet area with soapy water. Leave to dry as long as possible.

Buy spare mattress protector so you always have one.

If it still pongs a bit try Febreeze
