Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to get a detachable shower attachment that will fit onto this bath tap unit? Our over-bath electric shower is prone to playing up and with a houseful of family staying for Christmas we need back-up … I remember back in the day you used to be able to buy rubber attachments but for 2 separate taps, not just one like this. Would really appreciate advice!

If you find one let me know as I have an almost identical bath tap and when our shower head broke and was waiting on a replacement I tried and failed to find a rubber one that would work on the bath. Ended up with one I had to hold on with lots of pressure just to rinse my hair. Jug was more effective πŸ˜‚

@Shopper727 thanks but I’m looking for a detachable hose and head that we can use just in emergencies, not a permanent fixture

Just occurred to me another photo might be useful as the water outlet is a funny shape…

You can get single tap hoses like this one but I'm not certain it will fit over your tap as it's a bit of an off shape

I would try to look for one that you could screw in to the end. Ie, if you unscrew and remove the diffuser where the water comes out. They make ones that add a sprayer/ short bendy hose for kitchen taps, so maybe bath taps too. Or, perhaps a regular shower hose would screw directly in.
