Sorry for the boring question 🫣 Am thinking of buying a cordless Dyson and whilst many reviews are very positive, a lot say the battery run time is poor - can you tell me your experiences please before I take the plunge?!

I have had 2. First one broke so they replaced it.

It was great for a couple of months, now it is rubbish. I only use it for hard floors for crumbs.

Run time is rubbish, very poor performance. My advice is don’t waste your money

I had one and it was crap. Battery doesn't last long. Ended up binning it and bought a Shark lift away (corded) instead. I kept the hand held bit of the Dyson as it's handy for a quick clean up of bits and we had the charger on the wall already - saves getting the Shark out. But it is only good to pick up a couple of bits now.

What's really important is washing the parts that can be immersed in water and thoroughly cleaning the top filter and replacing both filters regularly to keep in optimum condition.

I bought a cheaper cordless one to pick up the slack when I need more than 45 minutes of cleaning or had to wait for the washed filters and parts of the Dyson to dry. It's a Koenic one and to be honest it's much better than the Dyson. 😅
