How do I clean a large glass shower screen

Made the mistake of going for a pee in while it was sunny and saw the grime!
Not limescale - just really grubby. Tried co-op eco glass cleaner - but not much good - presume it was for glass windows not shower screens.

Method shower spray is amazing. Microfibre cloths used dry are really good too.

I think it was Method glass cleaner I used - must check maybe I need to buy the shower one. I'll give the dry microfibre cloth a go too. Thanks

spray on white vinegar then scrub a bit then wipe off. Comes up lovely!

pinkteddy · 15/03/2008 17:37

fairy liquid - build up a lather on screen and rinse off.

Cillit Bang Lime and Grime. Spray on, rub around and into corners. Shower off. Finish with one of them rubber blade thingies.

Another vote for Cillit Bang.

When you say you went for a pee... you do mean in the toilet don't you?

TurkeyLurkey · 15/03/2008 22:17

Use one of those things that window cleaners use..faberooooonie!
Look like rubber rulers and you drag them down the glass, really sparkle afterwards.

A lemon and a scrubber are good, followed by microfibre cloth.Leave lemon on for a bit.

taipo · 15/03/2008 22:18

Vinegar works really well. Stinks though.
