I've just been nosey and looked at your new hair-do too NAB I really like it, you looks great

3NAB · 15/03/2008 19:23

Don't have any make up except for a bit of concealer under my eyes in the vain hope it would cover my black shadows.

I am 36.

On the rare occasion that I do wear makeup I am always surprised at how much better I look.

I don't work at all.

I am a full time mum.

DontDreamItBeIt · 15/03/2008 20:23

I had to go searching for your hair thread. It looks good
I don't wear makeup either, but when I try I look like a four year old who has been playing with mummy's make up The only time in my life I regularly wore it I was a goth and it doesn't look good on me now.

Absolutely nothing done here, but we had a nice day out, and I will hoover before it gets too late, then get my book out.

FunkyGoldStar · 15/03/2008 20:41

Morning

FGS I expect you won't be back on here before you go away but I hope you have a good holiday
Have a good day today TMH

Well, I'm up early, as always . Dh is still in bed asleep, dd is still asleep and ds has come into my bed, woken me up, demanded a drink then gone back to sleep leaving no room for me!
So, I've sorted the dw, s&s-ed the kitchen, put some washing in the machine, fed the cat and made a cuppa....time for a sit down and some MN time now I think!

We didn't do the test drive to the wedding venue yesterday. I really didn't feel up to it...bit worried about it all now though but hopefully the journey will be OK next weekend.
Not sure what we'll be doing today. We might go swimming but the weather is so awful I'm inclined to just stay at home and watch a film/play some games.

Back later x

Ludaloo · 16/03/2008 07:43

Good luck for the journey next weekend, I am sure it will be ok

Hey, you are doing great TR
Did you have a good day yesterday? Weather didn't cause a mischief did it? (poored down here)

Well, I have finished up dating my CV (just incase) I hate doing it!
Gosh it feels like absolutely ages since I had to use my brain for anything like that. I have been a SAHM for over 6 years now! I feel very out of touch with things
I've been looking at colleges and courses and various job opportunities and its all a bit daunting! I really want to teach, which means at least a year back at college...full time!!! EEEEEKKKKK!!!!!!!

Not done very much FLYing this morning....
Done D/W
Put a load of washing on
That's it lol!

DontDreamItBeIt · 16/03/2008 10:23

I have beed a SAHM for 8 years and ds starts school in Sep 2010. Mybrain will have completely atrophied by then and I will be totally incapable of anything.

TR It is Sunday, you are doing really well

I'm not even dressed yet

Ludaloo · 16/03/2008 10:44

LOL...neither am I! Still in my pj's and dressing gown.....off to get dressed now though....

Ludaloo · 16/03/2008 11:08

Ok...now I'm dressed. DH is still in bed...kids are all getting dressed, so I had better start doing something constructive!
Washing needs changing over, and general tidying to be done.

May have a look at making some lunch too...I'm starving!

Ludaloo · 16/03/2008 12:40

Well i still haven't done very much!
Watched Malcolm in the Middle (I love it)
Ate some lunch
Surfed the internet
Played hide and seek with DH and the kids...but have left them to carry on....there are only so many places a fully grown adult can hide

Grouchyoscar · 16/03/2008 12:54

Hello there

Hi Luda any local's hiding WMDs in your village this weekend

EHM more womby vibes your way

Thanks for your kind words re my dilemmas. I am feeling much much better now and I think Boris is back in his box.

I've been busy this morning so I'm having a break. I had procrastinated for too long and I have undertaken THE WARDROBE CULL!

Anything that I haven't worn in over a year is OUT. Anything that didn't really suit me is OUT. 2 bin bags have left the house for Oxfam and 1 in the bin.

My side is still packed, most stuff is off the £1 rail at the local charity shops but hey ho. It's tidy and organised now. Just DH to cull his stuff now.

I will operate a 'one in one out' policy here on in.

Just got to tackle my drawers now the vac the bedroom

Done

Take down bedroom curtains for washing
Load and run WM
Bin out for collection
Bedroom dusted
Spare duvets stowed
Wardrobe sorted
Empty WM
Load with curtains and run
Rubbish out

To Do

Chest of drawers to organise
Bedroom to vac
Pile of ironing
Make lunchboxes
Clothes ready for morning
Clean shoes

Bedroom curtains are slooshing about now so I better get cracking TTFN

TheMadHouse · 16/03/2008 13:37

Afternoon all

I am taking 5 minutes out (the calm before the storm). DS2 is in Bed and DS1 is doing puzzles with daddy.

We have been out this morning DS1 on his birthday bike, me pushing DS2 on his trike. Their fingures and lips were blue, but they didnt want to come home.

I can not believe that it is three years since DS1 was born - sheds a little tear.

However, the house is presentable and I havent had to do a mad clean and that is all down to FLY and your encouragement. Thank You wonderful FLY Friends

Ludaloo · 16/03/2008 13:46

Well done GO on the curtain washing and wardrobe sorting
My clothes are so limited I can't do a clear out...I'd have nothing left!! I am just getting back into a 12... and have only about a dozen items that fit
I never seem to buy anything for me. If I have spare cash for clothes, I always seem to get the kids things.
I am hoping to eventually get into a 10 or a 10/12

TMH They grow up so quickly don't they
