Cleaning microwave

Hi. My microwave is in a bit of a bad state, any tips for getting baked on food off easily?

I would put a bowl of hot water in it for a short while. The steam should soften up any dried food, and make it easier to wipe off. Repeat as necessary! HTH

I buy these little packets of microwave cleaner. There in the likes of b&m, home bargains for a couple of £. You get a little dish and a couple of packets of liquid cleaner. You put the cleaner in the dish in the Mir to wave for 3 minutes and afterwards it comes as out sparkling. You can see the dirt in the liquid. I just give it a quick wipe over and it's back to new.

Half a lemon in a heatproof jug of boiling water. Microwave for a bit until its a bit steamy. Wipe when cool enough.

I get a glass jug.
Half fill with hot water.
Add a dash of dishwashing liquid.
A quarter of a cup of white vinegar.
A squeeze of lemon juice.

Microwave on high for 5 minutes.

Wipe out straight away. Everything will come off, easy peasy!
