Washer Dryer - combined - help really need a recommendation

I'm not talking about the all in ones. I'm talking about a contraption whereby the washer and dryer are separate and one sits on top of the other.

Has anyone seen these in this country? what are they called? searching under washer dryer combo hasn't helped, the other type comes up and I really want two separate functions, so I can do two separate loads at once.

They are relatively common in the US. We will need one in our new house.

Thanks so much

BUMP!

Surely you just get one of each and plonk one on top of the other?

dylsmum1998 · 15/03/2008 13:22

lol what if they wobble off in the spin cycle!

It's an option I would consider, however, my feeling is that there could be issues with stability, etc. It feels a little ad hoc. Such a thing does exist - what i'm talking about.

I wasn't actually joking here is an example - it is not something we have but are considering...

Mine has a "stacking kit" option too, it's an AEG tumble drier.

we've got some john lewis ones -they're rebranded and made by someone else but been very good.
