this is so boring but can anyone recommend some decent oven trays? I have the set of Lakeland ones with the blue bottoms but I am having to throw them away, I can’t get them clean!!

My Tala trays are great, but the larger one is slightly too wide for my oven! Use yet silicon liners to extend their life and prevent burns.

Many years ago I bought some black enamel oven trays - Prestige, guaranteed 8 years. No way they'll last that long, I thought. It's more than 25 years now... !
I don't think Prestige do enamel any more, but though not non-stick, I'd go for enamel again - black, not white which does discolour.

I second Prestige. They are hardy and can withstand the battering we give them from fairly regular use. They claim 25 year guarantee. Not sure they will last that long but I definitely see ours lasting at least ten.

After years of using non stick, some of which were fairly expensive, I’ve bought a set of stainless steel oven trays from Amazon. Been using them for a year or so now and they still look like new. They can be scrubbed if needed and I’ve got high hopes they’ll last forever like the set of stainless steel pans that I’ve had for 25 years!
