Robot vac queries before I buy

Planning to get one as I think it will help with the never ending dog hair but a couple of things:

I would like it to live under the TV table. Space, power and it’s not in the way. Do you think that would work? Can I just drag it out if any problems? It won’t be easy to access but possible.

Also how will it manage soft things like the dog bed and small things like the dog water bowl?

Any advice welcome 🤗

The only problem with the changing base being under something is if the robot can't return to it for some reason and you have to manually put it on to recharge.
My upstairs one lives under a chest of drawers and it isn't a problem.

I wouldn't see a problem with the dog bed or water bowl.

My experience is often at 3am for random reasons they will start beeping so getting it out from under a TV table at 3:05 when you work out what the fuck is beeping might prove annoying.

Also, to clear it out and remove the last sweeps debris, you need to pick it up and remove the capsule. So you'd have to start it up first and then wait til it is in the open, stop it, then clean it out and then put it back to carry on.

Soft things they just bump off, it's things like laces and leads that need to be out of the way.

I'm just about to put mine to work this morning in the hall. I keep the base in the bedroom and then just take it to whichever room it is doing, and bring it back when done, as our floors are on different levels around the house.

Oh thanks, really helpful. Good news about the small and soft things and I’ll obviously have to see how it goes with the base and possible find a different place!

The Eufy that has good reviews on here is offer for prime members at the moment so good time to get it.
