My dishwasher has gone completely kaput, no chance of switching it back on. But I had to stop it mid-cycle so it's got standing water in. How do I get this out? I can't access the drainage hose until it's time to completely remove the machine from the space. I was hoping to remove the bulk of the water so when we do move it, it doesn't risk flooding everywhere, as it might need to be tipped a bit to remove it. I scooped as much out as I could with a mug. Would it be safe to use a carpet cleaner's water suction function? I've got a Vax carpet washer which sucks water and has a handheld attachment.
