erm.... I guess get a damp (not wet) cloth and sort of wash it carefully.

or if you have laminate floor cleaner? I have one of those static 'mop' things that has a bottle attached , and you press a button and it goes "wooooo woooo". And squirts out. That should get it up if you have similar?

I did this years ago.. errrr

Bloody hell I can't remember it does wear off.. I think I rubbed it with a dry teatowel .. no idea if it helped (mind you we moved house shortly afterwards)

Thats a not very helpful bump

Try vinegar on it.

The easiest thing actually is dilute sugar soap, you mop it on, then you mop it off with clean water. You can get it at any DIY store and it costs about £2 for a big tub.

NB you have to take it off afterwards as it's v harsh and will damage the floor if you don't.

However I beeswaxed our floor and DH slipped and nearly broke his leg so I had to do an unwax fairly sharpish so I can confirm sugar soap will do the job.

As does biological washing powder dissolved in boiling water and again mopped on then left for a bit, then mopped off.

ah will get him to try the washing powder, we have some of that.
