Mould on inside of window frame

Hi,

There is mould on the inside of the window frame in my DD's bedroom. We had the windows replaced about a year ago which we thought would resolve the issue but it hasn't. Any tips for both removing and preventing it would be greatly appreciated. At the moment I am just spraying with a cleaning spray and scrubbing it off as best I can.

Thanks.

Do you air the room?
After the central heating goes off, open the window(s) for an hour.

wipe the mould with a 50/50 water / bleach mixture in the morning.

My ds bedroom is the same and I use a mould spray to. Lean it and keep the window open during the day while nobody is home.

Clean it not Lean

Does it have a trickle vent? If not can you lock it so it's slightly open all the time? A bit of background ventilation along with regular airing might keep on top of it.

diluted vinegar is best for cleaning mould as it is anti fungal. but yes it about airing thee room regularly and wiping down condensated windows - or get a dehumidifier

Thanks everyone, really helpful, will try better ventilation and a mould spray if I can find one, if not the I will try the vinegar/bleach.

She does spend quite a lot of time there, she's 4 so goes to be about 7:30 and up at 7 and she also likes to sit in there and look at her books.
