Would really welcome some help on selecting a food processor!

I've tried to do lots of research and look at threads on MN and various websites but have been left really confused.

There are two of us. But we are sometimes catering for 4 or 6 or rarely 8. What size do I need? I see Magimix do 1-8 but will that be too much/too big?

I want a machine that does as much different chopping, dicing, slicing, grating etc as possible and can also emulsify and mix for baking etc.

Do they all do that? Some of them don't mention emulsifying for example but it seems odd that they wouldn't be able to do this. The information on the websites is not very clear!

I want one with dishwasher safe bowls, blades etc and one that has a container for the blades etc.

What else should I be thinking about/looking for? I've never had a food processor or used one before and it's really difficult work out the differences between the different machines so I know what I need.

If you can recommend me your all singing all dancing life-changing processor that would be fab.

Or give me some pointers as to what to look for that would be soooo helpful!

Oh and blender not that important as I have a Vitamix although it would be good to have as an option for when the Vitamux dies.

Thank you!
