Do suspenders in the bedroom work? For fitted sheets that is!

We've got 2 nice quality fitted sheets but they seemed to have shrunk and ping off at night. Do the bed sheet suspenders work? Do they eventually damage the sheets?

We've been using them 3 years and they're great.
I use duvet pins too which stops me being left with empty duvet cover on my side.

They can be a faff to get on securely, but no they don't damage the sheets and they always held sheets firmly in place for me. There not ideal but they're much better than replacing good quality sheets. They're so cheap, too. Give them a go and decide for yourself :)
