best way to clean a steam sterilizer

living in hard water area too (although got a descaler thing on the mains it helps but not eradicated problem)
get browny sand like gunk in the bottom sometimes.
whats best thing to give it a good clean? Milton? or?

I think you can buy packets of it in Boots...

I think any descaler that works on a kettle will do.

I used vinegar in mine, ordinary bog stands sarsons.

Stick it in, turn on and rinse at end.

my sons one used to tell us to use coca cola! that was an avent one
didnt have one for dd tho
