I love e cloths, all around the home.

What do you use with yours when you need to sterilise something eg toilet / sink / work surface?

I am interested in this as well as I have seen an ecloth mop but wondered how clean it would get the floor. Would I still need to dettol it afterwards?

That's my issue - I know they clean up general dirt with their funky fibres, but how would they nuke any germs?

Flannels?

hot water kills most germs... though not sure if an ecloth would remain hot enough for long enough

What you can do with cloths (not with ones you've used down to clean the loo perhaps) is rinse them out in hot water and put them in the microwave for three minutes, which kills the bacteria.

ha yes dh thinks they are flannels too. i couldn't find any last week and it turned out he had put them in his and ds sock drawer!

Microwave is a good idea - I was thinking about tea tree oil solution for nuking the germs as I clean eg. nappy changing area?
