Hi

We had a playdate over and one of the mums spilt a whole cup of tea on my light cream carpet. Please help. Does anyone know what will remove ths stain or any products they have used? Had them over cos I was feeling low now I feel million times worse. Thanks.

I use car upholstry cleaner on my stains and it works a treat a big can lasts me ages or you could try any spray designed for that type of thing, i think they do a vanish mousse?

Loads and loads of water and loads and loads of paper towels. Scrape up water onto pts with a blunt knife. There's no eco friendly way of doing it, unless you want to end up with a washing machine full of tea towels.

If you have some, carpet cleaner would help too.

I have got a light cream carpet and if you put a bit of that Daz Oxy white powder (the one in a pink tub - not the white one as that has bleach in) into a jug and pour in boiling water from the kettle and then pour onto the stain - it is like magic. Just dont fill the water to the top as the powder makes the water fizz up and it may scald you. Just hoover up the foamy powder about an hour later. let me know how you get on !!!

babywipes are pretty effective at taking anything out (even red wine)!

Vanish carpet mousse
or
the Shout one

Good luck!

IIRC, for tea stains in carpets, spray with soda water. Mop up with toweling and repeat until stain has gone. Good luck

1001 carpet cleaner is pretty good.

just make sure you knock red wine all over her carpet next time she invites you round to hers !!!
