Ok... well not completely lazy! I'm pricing up options for things for our building work and long story short I'm trying to figure out what is the most cost effective flooring for my hall, kitchen and dining room. These are high traffic areas. I had visions of a light coloured flagstone looking floor. Then I thought to myself - nobody will EVER clean it except me. And I am busy! And a bit lazy. So... has anyone had success with glazed kitchen tiles or do they just look naff? I imagine they are easier to clean than the pale bumpy matt unglazed limestone tiles I had envisaged... Or, should I just opt for heavy, commercial grade vinyl flooring in a pale stone effect...maybe I could steam mop that and not have the usual grout cleaning issues you get with a REAL stone looking floor? Vinyl could be more affordable? What has worked best in your experience, cleaning wise though? Thanks!
