I'm considering a robot vacuum, I'd quite like it to mop too.
We've got hard floors downstairs with a few rugs, upstairs is all carpet.
2 small short hair dogs that don't moult badly, no kids now, we live in the countryside, so a bit of mud sometimes.
A few questions I have:
- Does it get into the corners?
- does it navigate obstacles or bump into them, then go round?
- Does it manage the adjustment from carpet to hard floor?
- is the mop function any good, or does it smear dirty water around the floor?
- Does it just get on with the job, or do you have to keep rescuing or resetting it?
- are you pleased with it, or do you just wish you'd got a better standard vacuum?
My budget is £400, does anyone have one they'd recommend?
