about to put the DS's to bed and then before H gets home I want to

Wash the dishes/tidy the kitchen
Make up the bottles
Run the vacuum around
Tidy the stuff on top the piano and give it a dust
Put the pushchair away
Put a load of washing on/hang it on the radiators
Do my basket of ironing....

I'm not doing it for his benefit - but for ME - I want to be sat on here feeling smug that it's tidy as I know he'd just LOVE to come home and subtly pick holes at the stuff that I haven't done........

charliecat · 10/03/2008 20:37

FAQ · 10/03/2008 20:40

right piano is now sorted - and all the toys given a new home (we moved furniture the other day and several boxed games/toys lost their home so were living on the piano).

Have also run the hoover round - and put it away.

Just the dishes/kitchen worktops and ironing to tackle now.....oh and hang the washing when it finishes

FAQ · 10/03/2008 21:08

I've finished the kitchen including a few extra things - and hung up the washing - going to leave the ironing tonight - there's quite a lot of it and as I don't exactly what time H will be home I don't want to be in the middle of a job when he gets in......(I know you could argue I'm cheating - but I've done more work in the last hour than I've done in the last week ) -

Ha Ha I have been trying to do my house for the last week. It takes me 2 SOLID days to tidy for having anyone in, and I thought I would declutter and clean, so it may only take 1 day next time
We have done well
Pat on the back for us both

FAQ · 10/03/2008 21:13

yes we have done well (even if I'm giving the ironing a miss). My house looks fab and if he dares says a WORD about anything I'll tell him get his head of his ar*e
