Bleeding a radiator - keys don't fit!

Hi

I am currently bleeding my rads to release air and one radiator is different to the others.

We don't have a key, bought one but it doesn't fit.

Any ideas?

Or is PigletJohn around?

Thanks all

See picture 😊

I can't really see from those photos I'm afraid. From what I can see, it may be that the bolt has rounded off.

If that is the case, you may need to replace the whole bleed valve. You'll need to be careful about the thread as it looks old enough to be imperial. A job for a plumber if you are not a handy person?

If you are, and you have a wet and dry vacuum, turn both radiator valves off and drain the radiator. Plenty of youtube videos about how to do that.

Thanks happiestsleeping
It hasn't rounded off but I agree it may be imperial, can I get one from somewhere?
