Dishwasher confusion.

I have a new Bosch serie 4 freestanding SMS4HKW00G. The half load button doesn’t light up when I press it. I’ve selected the express wash function but it’s only a half load. When I press half load it doesn’t light up but seems to cancel the selected programme. I can’t find an explanation in the manual. Can anyone help me please?

I would think you can't have both of those options together as they both reduce the wash. Try half load with a different type of cycle, or stick with Express (without half load). Or, even better, wait until you have a full load.

I waited for a full load in the end, a half load is pretty rare in our house. Thank you, if the same situation crops up in future, I’ll try it with a different cycle.
