Dust and hair!!

I was wondering if there's a trick I am missing but how do other people deal with the dust/hair when cleaning white surfaces?

For example, when cleaning the bathroom and wiping with a cloth, all looks lovely and clean except the line of dust or the stray hair that I cannot pick up with the cloth! Even dusting first (which does seem odd in a bathroom) doesn't help. I clean the bathroom 3 times a week so it's not masses of accumulated dust and hair

I hope that makes sense and someone is going to be along with a wonder tip that saves my sanity!

It does make sense but only because I suffer with the sane thing.

Are you cleaning properly? Have you tried hoovering first (with nozzle attachment)?

I mostly use the vac nozzle and attachments to dust. More efficient than a duster.

I would say I am cleaning correctly yes, I hoover all the other rooms but haven't used the hoover in the bathroom

Definitely hoover the bathroom. It’s the first thing I do before wiping any surfaces.

Definitely need to hoover our bathrooms, loads of fluff from thick towels, general dust. A duster won't do the job.

I always vac the bathroom floor before washing it.

Yes, and I go around the edges and corners with my handheld hoover with the nozzle attachment! Then damp wipe/mop afterwards, and dry shiny surfaces with a microfibre cloth if I want to be extra fancy.

The brush attachment of the vacuum is your friend here. And also a car detailing brush (pic attached) to flick anything out of the corners and edges.
