I need an outdoor box for smelly boots.

My son's football and rugby boots stink!

I want somewhere to keep them outside. Maybe in one of those parcel boxes.

Yes. Exactly that. It looks great, and a lot less plasticky than some of the others I've seen.

It's winter. They come home wet and muddy. There is nothing to quell the stench

@fruitstick I hear you! I spent a whole day last week sniffing the air in my son's room. I thought a cat had got in and wee'd!! It was so strong.

I have dried out his rugby boots (no change in smell-the sod had flung them in his boot bag wet and then left them in a cupboard!) and washed his boot bag in vanish. They still smell so are now only allowed in the garage.

We've got 2 upside down metal boot racks that you hang shoes/boots on outside so that they air and dry. You can attach them to the wall if you're short on space? It's a god send for wellies and walking boots.

DS16 loves it especially when he's refereed matches during college time and need them at the weekend.
