how do you choose a mattress topper?

Never had one before but think it would be nice for warmth and comfort... Ok, things tend to hurt more than they used to and we'd like a bit more cosiness.

We have a standard double mattress / bed.

How thick should they be? I've seen 1-4" thicknesses

How do you wash them?

What should they be made of?

Anything to beware?

Thankyou

Make sure your sheets are deep enough to cope with the extra depth. We got one and found that some of our fitted sheets were a little snug. We have gone for extra deep sheets ever since.

Bumping as I am looking at getting one too.

We only have flat sheets as fitted ones drive me mad trying to wrestle them on and fold them.

We stayed in a hotel with the most comfortable beds ever, do I stripped the sheets and bought the same topper the day we left!

Panda bamboo topper by far is the best Iv had !

I did have a luxury brand memory foam mattress ( do t want to disclose exact make) and it wasn't comfortable, sunk too much in the warm weather.

But with a hard sprung mattress and the Panda topper, perfect comfort

You also have a Xxx years guarantee tooBlush
