what can i put on my windows when it is windy

this used to happen to me in a tower block I lived in in my youth. I brilliantly solved it by gaffer taping the edges of the windows on the outside.

whats gaffer tape and could i do it on the inside

It is the thick wide tape used by workmen and you could try it on the inside

thanks i'll have to get some i thought it would be good if i could get some suckers and put black bags over using the suckers to keep them up and just take them down in the day

Would the bags not blow in the draft?

Tape comes in loads of colours and good for sealing up drafts, but will mark paintwork and leave a residue You will probably still har the wind remember.

I did tape a bin bag over the loft hatch when the hatch was missing.
