Laundry after stomach bug

Hi all, my DS is 16 months and has caught his first proper (projectile) sickness bug. I’ve rinsed all the things with sick on with the shower to get the bits off and put them on a 60 degree wash with antibacterial laundry cleanser.
He was sick on the sofa and rug which I’ve sprayed lots with dettol and wiped with a wet cloth. Is there anything else I need to be doing??

I’m terrified of sick and now feeling sick myself so any advice welcome to get rid of the germs!

thanks

Door handles, light switches & phones. They're the things I try to keep on top of when D&V is in the house. Oh, don't forget the the loo flush button/handle etc.

Don't leave any water bottles or cups in his reach (that aren't his, obviously). I came a cropper with this when my son drank from my bottle.

Maybe sanitise the shower handles/switch in case you had any germs on your hands from the bedding.

Just keep hand washing and try not to kiss him too much.

Good luck!

Just to add, should I be cleaning all of his toys? He’s basically touched every single one!

I think germs die after 24 hours? Google... it tells you.

Just wash your hands lots - and his!
