it's only been 48 hours.

The casing at the bottom has come apart slightly.
It weighs approximately a tonne, while simultaneously feeling flimsy.
The "self-cleaning filter" looks filthy.
The cord rewind is located at the bottom, involving lots of bending.

Who would design something like this, let alone put it into production???

what sort is it? and where did you buy it from? you may be able to take it back.

defintely take it back - with our horrid hoover I did phone company first who gave me a return number to give to store. It was easy peasy and I love my vax.
