I've just had a cleaner round to deep clean 4 bathrooms. She took 3 hours and I checked them after she left.

Overall they look much better but I wouldn't say they are a hundred percent clean - still some dust around the edges of the floor and marks on the tiles.

Is this to be expected?

I had a cleaner come to deep clean my house before I had my baby and I was the same- wasn't completely happy with the standard of the bathroom in particular.

Just didn't do things I would do or not to my standard. Everyone I spoke to said you should tell them next time but it was a one off for me so didn't have the chance.

Maybe highlight next time?

I wouldn't expect the floor to still be dusty, no. There will probably always be some nook or cranny of an unfamiliar bathroom that may get missed but if the floor is not properly clean then it hasn't been properly cleaned.

How deep clean? If its a mouldy grout between the tiles situation she would probably have needed longer. See how it goes next time.

Similar situation here, am 4 months pregnant with a toddler so just haven't had time to clean them. They were last done about 6 weeks ago so weren't even extremely dirty!

Think I might try somewhere else next time.

Oh it was no where near that level of dirty, no mould anywhere. Probably last cleaned six or seven weeks ago.

Did the cleaner suggest the time frame?

I’m a cleaner. When I do an initial deep clean, it can take up to 2hrs per bathroom. To descale the shower screens, get under the door seals, pluck out the hair and soap scum from the tracks and under doors, descale the taps and fittings and buff them, do the blinds, cabinets and shelves and get right into the corners of the flooring while removing all the bottles, toothbrushes, bath toys etc.
Even a routine clean, which is done every fortnight or week, would take 30-40 mins per bathroom.
So I would suggest 45 minutes per room was not long enough.
