Im getting a bit desperate now, have tried sugar soap and some 'sticky stuff' remover, which has just left a bigger patch!

Any ideas?

sounds bizarre, but am sure I read somewhere that rubbing a slice of white bread over a mark on wallpaper helps it come off. Not tried it myself, but might be worth a try?

Would a baby wipe help?

gem1981 · 09/03/2008 20:06

have you tried bicarbonate of soda?

Am eagerly watching to see what works as ds plastered one wall with his eczema gunk a while ago and its greasy stuff.

white bread works on pencil. I keep intending to try it on wax crayon..

Crayon - I put brown paper over the mark and ironed it. Worked for me {disclaiming all responsibility for any burning etc of walls...]
