We have just come back from holiday and found what we think are mould mites all over our kitchen. We had a damp patch by our kitchen back door and somehow we’ve suddenly ended up with an infestation. They’re literally everywhere, all over our microwave, kettle, our baby prep machine, in our cupboards, on the handles etc.
I know we can throw out all the food and scrub the cupboard etc but I don’t know what to do about the microwave and kettle. I can literally see them crawling everywhere it’s making me sick. I’ve had to take my baby to my parents house as I’m worried it’s not clean for her.
I’m waiting to hear back from a local pest control company to come and see what they can do but does anyone have any suggestions??
