I suspect I may be at the more slatternly end of the scale.

Name changing permitted for Dirty Gerties.

no... I don't iron the sheets..... just the duvet covers and pillow cases.... doesn't everyone?

SenoraPostrophe · 06/03/2008 20:01

have we? I must have missed the other 299.

eekamoose · 06/03/2008 20:05

Pillowcases and bottom sheets - weekly.

Duvet covers - every other week.

So marital (ha!) bed gets fully stripped every other week, and the two dcs beds get fully stripped in the week in between iyswim.

Mattress covers and pillow protectors: as and when required, or at least in Spring when the weather gets warmer and I feel all inspired to hang things out on the line.

Wisteria · 06/03/2008 20:07

Once a fortnight on average for the girls' beds although it can easily slip to every 3 or even 4 (in my defence they are at their Dad's for 50% of the time)..... will it stand up in court?

For us; well we are hardly the most 'active' couple IYKWIM - so every one to two weeks.

AdamAnt · 06/03/2008 20:12

Whizzz eh?

IamaBitch - you are a bitch.

Cod - why, what state would your sheets be in after two weeks?

Mine are still pretty fragrant after two weeks, but then I'm not a sweaty/grubby person.

shinyshoes · 07/03/2008 11:28

I try to do it every 2 weeks, but it has been known to go slightly over that , in the summer I do it every sunday, I sweat like a pig in the summer

andiem · 07/03/2008 11:30

every week on a tuesday
they don't call me mrs ocd at school for nothing

charliecat · 07/03/2008 11:33

For the kids, every half term. They dont look dirty. Kids get bathed a lot, they also sleep on the sofa/in my bed a lot.
Mine, only when I know someone will be sharing my bed. About every 6 weeks too at the moment.
