Laundry

How can I get my washing to smell nice. I can never smell anything on my clothes when they are dry and everyone else's clothes smell amazing. I use liquid detergent and a fabric conditioner.

I would suggest changing to powder detergent and also using a laundry disinfectant.

I use Aldi powder with a small amount of fabric conditioner along with a recommended amount of laundry disinfectant every time plus I generally only use 20 or 30 degree temperatures and my laundry smells beautiful.

I use Aldi powder and dry in the outdoors, no fabric softener. Mine smell fresh and clean.

I'd say not smelling of anything is winning. I can't abide all the artificial smells that pervade clothes. Ironing with linen water can be a nicer, subtle smell but I can't be arsed with the fuss.

I think a lot of the time it's the drying. Making sure laundry is completely dry so it doesn't get that musty smell.
I use Ariel, comfort and white vinegar. Dry outside and it smells lovely. Appreciate not everyone can dry outside.
