Pink mould on bathroom grouting

Does anyone else get this? I live in the southwest but before moving here I'd never seen this. Now I've seen it in two different houses. It's easy to scrub off but it leaves a stain. Any suggestions of what to do with it? I'm actually cleaning so much I'm beginning to wear the grouting away.

We get exactly the same and bleach is fantastic at removing it, without scrubbing. I mix equal quantities of thick bleach with warm water and spray it on the grout, leave it for a while and then rinse off.

It's mould that grows on soap, apparently.

I clean with normal bathroom cleaner, then sometimes spray on a bleach-containing cleaning spray and just leave it. Seems to keep mould at bay without damaging anything. It's probably not recommended. Whoever uses the shower next just rinses it down before they step in.

Do you use a daily shower spray (leave on thing -not cleaning your shower daily)? I think they help prevent this. The Method one is decent but there are loads on the market.

Look up Pseudomonas bacteria and cleaning them.

HG mould remover spray is great for this job. Spray on and leave for 10 mins then rinse off.

Vinegar worked well for me.

I spray vinegar on the grout and just leave it there - kills off the mould
