Hi,

Does anyone know what these are ? Found three running from under our TV cabinet round my children's toys this morning.

Should I be worried ? Could it be an infestation? Unsure weather to pull all the furniture out to check ...

It's a weevil.
I don't think 3 counts as an infestation, but maybe have a good hoover

@Branleuse when I googled weevils it says they are tiny. These are about the size of my finger tip I caught them under a pint glass? Could it still be them?

@SusanSHelit thanks this sounds really dumb but I don't have carpet we have hard flooring. Could we still get them?

It looks very much like a bark beetle to me. I live in Germany and we have loads of them, often find them in the house.
Do you have a garden with trees? And have you had windows open?

I just trap them like you did and take them outside.

No idea what they are but we had loads of them earlier on in the year, there was a time where I was seeing a few of them a day. I was starting to get a bit worried about some sort of infestation myself and was starting to gear myself up to pulling all the furniture out/checking the back of cupboards etc. But I kept putting it off as I was also a bit scared what I might find 😂 Then they just seemed to disappear one day and I've not seen any of them for ages now.
