Tips for cleaning a mattress

Hi there, I have been gifted a bed with a second hand mattress. In time I will replace it but for now does anyone have any tips for cleaning/freshening it up please? Thanks

Bicarb is your friend here I'd liberally sprinkle it all over one side of the mattress leave it for as long as you can ideally overnight vacuum it off and flip the mattress and repeat. If you want to you can add essential oils to the bicarb to help with any smells. If there are stains on the mattress it maybe an idea to steam clean it as well.
