Deep sheets

I am yet to find a wonderful cotton sheet that will fit the ver my deep King Size mattress. I've seen the Rise and Fall ones advertised but they are over £50. Can anyone recommend any cheaper ones that do the job?

What is the measurement?

Sheets should be the mattress plus the underside

Outs in a 10 inch mattress bite we buy 14 inch sheets.

What are you looking for?

wondabar · 27/09/2023 00:24

It is a standard King Size - 150cm x 198cm and 29cm deep.

John Lewis - only place I could get decent Deep superking sheets. Not badly priced either and wash well.

@TiredCatLady did you get Superking size sheets for a King Size bed? I've been getting Kingsize sheets but I think that @Totaly is recommending to take a size up from my bed size. Or have I misunderstood?

I generally buy from here and they have always been fine, wash well and are very reasonably priced. With 4 beds to buy for I can't afford to be paying more just for bottom sheets! Not everything on the page are 'deep' fit so just check but I think there are 4 or 5 options, and several colours available.

Yes you need to buy deeper than the mattress. I read this on a bedding website and it was news to me too!

Totaly · 27/09/2023 07:09

Having looked you need 30 cM extra deep fitted sheets.

Dunelm.

@krisskrossfan where do you buy your sheets from?

@wondabar From JD Williams - link here

I usually buy the Easy Care type (50% cotton/50% polyester) and honestly found them to be perfectly fine, they're comfortable and wash well. I checked availability of King sized for you and the Easy Care would be 38cm Depth for £16, various colours. If you prefer, they have a 100% Cotton (200 thread count), same depth, for £23, again various colours, and finally a 'Washed Cotton' (100% cotton), 40cm Depth, for £24, various colours. Pillowcases in both 'housewife' and 'oxford' style are available seperately (just use the drop-down menu to view) for £6 or £8 per pair. If you do want extra deep fitted seets, make sure you choose that style as ordinary fitted are also listed on that page.

Hope the info helps and you are able to find what you need!
