Help! Is this a bed bug or some other insect??

Help! I was reading in bed when I felt a tiny black bug walking on my arm. I pushed it away and killed it. Have inspected the mattress but found no others. Is it a bed bug or something else? We don’t have any pets. If it’s a bed bug how do I get rid of it? Thank you so much.

I can't tell what it is from that photo but can tell that it's definitely not a bed bug. It's the wrong shape.

I think they are also browner and they stink if you squash them. A really foul chemical stench. Very hard to get rid of. You can get smoke bombs but I read recently of a young girl who died from the fumes.
