PIL kindly let us have their holiday home for a getaway. I got a period stain on the brand new mattress, initially cleaned it with Vanish powder (has worked in the past) but to my horror the stain just got diluted and is now HUGE (2 days ago). Today I have tried spraying vinegar and blotting with cold water but it's not going away and if anything I think it's getting even bigger.
We leave (very) early tomorrow, is there any chance of saving this!? I want to stay away from bleach as MIL is very anti harsh chemicals and I've had it go wrong before.
It's one of the IKEA memory foam mattresses, this is technically a cover but a quick google suggested it's impossible to get back on and would take too long to dry anyway.
