Children's Bedlinen

Help!! I need children's bedlinen for my DS's new room, trouble is he's got a double bed and I can't find any bed linen that's young enough for him (ie not dinosaurs, power rangers etc) in a double size. The only place I've found so far has been Next and the 'Space Rocket' bed linen I adore is sold out and no more expected!

I would really like something I can do a theme in, which is why the Space Rocket stuff was ideal. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? Where did you find any?

TIA

why not buy some plain linen and some fabric paints and let your ds paint his own design.

You don't have to use a double duvet on a double bed, you know - he can still snuggle up with a single one.

Have a look at La Redoute though - they have lots of lovely bright double duvet covers, not specifically for children.

Why don't you make some bedlinen? A double cover should be fairly easy.

This one from Vertbaudet is nice.

A nice spacey one at the Kids' Window

Also, do have a look in Asda and Matalan, I'm sure I've seen a space rocket one in one of those recently

Next would be my suggestion...via Ebay you can get some interesting designs.

I sell duvets (not advertising...honest!) and do a double batman, Dr Who and double football ones. The main problem you have with the double designs is that they're few and far between.

Manufacturers are getting better though. I notice a lot of the new lines they're introducing are doing doubles now!

If you think of anything you think I might be able to help with (even if it's just trawling through sites for you) let me know.
