Does anyone know how to go about cleaning a light like this? It came with the house so we don't have any care instructions. We can't work out what bits to unscrew and what does/ doesn't come apart. It's just one glass sphere in one piece and the hole in the top appears too small for the actual light fitting to come through. That's after we've found a way to access it - quite high up at the top of a stairwell. Any tips gratefully received!

It looks similar to a Laura Ashley one, there are fitting instructions in the link, and there are little screws in the frame. If I zoom in on your picture I can see them at the top.

  1. You may require assistance to support the glass shade during installation
Position the glass globe shade, making sure that the holes in the metal frame holding the glass line up with the screw holes in the fixing cup above the lampholder. Whilst the weight is supported, insert the fixing screws provided to secure the glass shade to the fitting.

Thank you! Yes it's definitely a similar design, that's helpful. I'm not sure how the actual 4-lamp light bit gets through the (small) hole though?! Wondering if we just need to try unscrewing the top and see what happens...
